Parent or guardian
The parent role reads eligible records for learners linked to your account. The school must verify and create each guardian link. Creating your account alone does not link your children.
Activate and check your family account
- Open the latest invitation sent to your own email address.
- Set your password and complete required sign-in steps.
- Sign in and open Everything of mine.
- Check the names and campuses of your linked learners.
- Select the child whose record you need.
Use your own account and mailbox rather than sharing a learner's password. Ask the school to review guardian links when a learner is absent or incorrectly linked. Different campuses can expose different portal areas. Recheck the child and campus when moving between siblings.
Follow a learner's academic records
| Area | What to review |
|---|---|
| Results | The subject, period, and latest approved revision. |
| Attendance | Recorded dates and states, including unrecorded entries. |
| Timetable | Published lessons and dated schedule changes. |
| Syllabi | Published teaching outlines. |
| Documents | Issued report-card and transcript revisions. |
| Calendar | Eligible school events and closure days. |
| Notices | Published messages addressed to you. |
The guardian link establishes learner access without staff working-campus membership. Your parent role does not grant general access to campus student lists or other families' records. A staff role held on the same account has its own broader authorized scope. Use role guidance when you are also a teacher or staff member.
A pending result correction leaves the earlier approved result visible. Approving a new result does not update an already issued report card automatically. See result publication instructions when asking the school about a revision.
Review invoices and campus services
Select Invoices for the intended learner and inspect charges, received payments, and held credit. The application currently provides no family checkout. Pay through the school's stated process and keep the transaction reference. Ask the accountant to investigate a mismatch using the learner, invoice number, amount, and payment date.
Use Library, Boarding, Programmes, and Graduation where available for the learner. Availability depends on the campus feature, portal-area settings, and eligible records. A missing area does not mean the underlying record was deleted. Confidential health, safeguarding, and support records are not ordinary family publication areas.
Submit and follow a request
- Select the intended learner and open Requests.
- Choose Document, Correction, Appointment, or Acknowledgement.
- Enter What you need and More detail when required.
- Select Send.
- Review the request's state and the school's response.
For a correction, identify the record, date or period, current value, and requested change. For a document, identify the learner, document type, and relevant period. An appointment request does not reserve a calendar slot automatically. A document request does not issue a report card automatically. Use Take back to cancel an eligible open request. See family request instructions for the complete workflow.
Manage notifications and account security
Open Notification settings to choose whether to receive notice emails. An email preference changes delivery, rather than the notice's audience. Review profile security and keep recovery codes available securely. Ask the administrator about account status or expired links when recovery fails.
| Problem | Action |
|---|---|
| One child is absent | Ask the campus to check that child's guardian link and enrollment eligibility. |
| An unrelated child appears | Report it immediately and ask the school to remove the incorrect link. |
| A published record is absent | Ask whether the area is enabled and the record has been issued or approved. |
| No notice email arrives | Check preferences and ask the school to inspect delivery and publication recipients. |
| A request is Answered but the record remains wrong | Ask whether staff completed the underlying correction. |
Unlinking a learner removes your access and cancels your open requests for that learner. School records and person accounts remain retained under their normal history rules.
